There is no other way to describe the new collection from Diane Rubach than sumptuous.

Those in the know will recognise Diane as the designer behind Diki, the long established nightwear and lingerie brand based in the UK that specialises in silk, made to measure, garments from UK size 8 to 30. In Diane's own words, the new collection has been a long time coming. Her last collection was released in 2008. But the wait was certainly worthwhile.

There are five "stories" or ranges, each with their own distinctive twist but the theme that runs through the entire collection is one of glamour and luxury.  Caroline is probably the least sophisticated but only because of the fresh and almost youthful nature of the colour - a warm coral pink coupled with matching embroidered lace. This contracts with the only pale offering in the collection, Giselle, which is made from the palest of pale shell pink and rich dark chocolate lace embroidered in pink and fawn.  The darkest offering is Veronique - a luscious dark raspberry purple silk combined with embroidered dark chocolate lace. For dramatic impact the vibrant scarlet silk with black floral embroidered lace of Carmen would be hard to beat and for breath-taking beauty there is Christelle. A mix of fuchsia pinks silk and sheer black lace with embroidered floral pattern. Each range offers a chemise, a long nightdress, a long sleeved jacket, plus a teddy and a camisole set.  There is also a soft basque option in most collections.  The bra sets include a soft underwired silk bra with a matching deep garterbelt that has four suspenders and there is a choice of sheer thong or a more descreet lace over silk brief.
