It's all too easy for a woman to dismiss the idea of wearing pyjamas when she thinks only of the classic night shirt and pants style which is a direct copy of a man's pyjama set.  But today the choice of styles in women's pyjamas is wide and there is no reason why you should wear the classic style if you don't want to.  As well as a great choice in pyjama styles there is also a fantastic range of materials to choose from.  If you want a little luxury then silk is usually the first choice but cotton or linen can be equally luxurious.  The key being that all three fabrics are natural and very kind to your skin.  But if man made fibre is the way you want to go then there are some amazing designs.  Forget that standard nightshirt - there are camisole style tops with three quarter leg panties, wrap around tops with full length trousers and vest tops with shorts to name just three different styles you might like.
